Rockabye Rockers

With adventurous and wild twin boys in the house, we are always on the hunt for toys that they will love and that will last. We are also a musical family, so a dragon and a moose that play music? Where do I sign up? Rockabye rockers have been one of our favorite additions to our toy collection. Quality, design, customization, fast shipping. Everything that moms are looking for for their little ones.

These rockers go room-to-room because the boys love them so much. We rock while we watch TV, we rock while we play, we rock our superheroes on them, and we rock when we're supposed to be sleeping. They are squishy, comfy, so cute, and beautifully made. Plus, there's no mistaking which rocker belongs to which twin because they are beautifully engraved with their names. We cannot sing Rockabye rockers praises enough.

The other thing that I love about these rockers is that feeling of nostalgia. Granted, I didn't have a plush, cozy customized animal and engraved name on mine, but I will never forget my first rocking horse. I loved it, and I am so glad that my boys have rockers that they can use and remember. And heck, how amazing would it be for them to keep these and pass them on to their kids?

If you are in need of fun, well-made rockers for your little ones, then, you need to head to Rockabye and search for the perfect one. You can follow Rockabye on Facebook and Instagram to stay up-to-date on new arrivals and sales.

Three Squared

It takes a minute to remember that the boys are twins. This picture is all you need to see to understand why. People think Jax is slow because he's, clearly, a six-year-old, and Jett is two. They look nothing like twins, let alone brothers.

But here we are. Twins boys who are now three-years-old.

It's funny. I spend my days surrounded by women, either working or playing. When you put moms in a room together and we start talking about our children, within minutes, we are sharing the most intimate details of our birth stories. It's something that unites us from the outset. "Oh, your epidural didn't work either?! Let me tell you my story!" It's an instant bond with mothers. We were there. In the trenches. We know the stories. Good and bad. We lived them. Our birth stories are our 'Nam.

If you're a longtime reader, you know the ins & outs of our roller coaster twin pregnancy. From the "holy shit" in the ultrasound room to the three-week-long NICU stay. These boys came into this world with a larger than life story, and they have maintained that over three years.

While we are tired, we have bags under our eyes, and we shower less frequently, having these two boys has been the best adventure we've ever been on. They are wild, loud, snuggly, stinky, loving, hilarious, spastic, and amazing.

Boys, you are our world and we adore you.

Here are a few of my favorites from this past year.

Jax & Jett's Adventure Bedroom

Our original plan to separate the boys when we moved was derailed. Jett needs his brudder with him at night, but that meant a toy room! When I was trying to decide what I wanted for the boys' room, I knew I wanted: 1. simple and 2. dude stuff.

These arrows are what started me on the adventure trail! I snatched up these arrows for my two little arrows from Hollybee & Company, and started collecting other things that would fit in with their room.

You know I love momtrepreneurs, and Debbie is no exception.

I am a mother of two amazing boys, ages 20 and 16, and like all mothers feel, they are the light of my life. I have a pretty amazing husband as well. Oh, and a beautiful daughter-in-law too.

We moved from Utah to Wyoming 5 years ago. I left behind my family, my new home, and a thriving hair salon business. I found myself extremely lost with that move. I felt I had lost myself and had know idea who I really was without my hair salon. I started refinishing furniture just to pass the time. Then I decided to start posting it on Facebook, and it evolved from there. I teach Annie Sloan paint classes at a little home décor and floral shop here in Lyman, Jane&Main. That has been a fun adventure and something I find great joy in. Last March, I decided to open my Etsy store. I remembering being so excited when I had 5 sales, and now, I am getting over one hundred. It's fun to always be creating, and I think it is important to our overall well-being. We are creative beings, and all have talents. I am lucky I get to share mine with others.

My other passion is Yoga. I own a Yoga studio here as well. The two have gone hand-in-hand with helping me find who I am and what I really enjoy. My Etsy store and painting are like meditation to me. I get a paint brush in my hand or start creating something for my shop, and I become completely lost in creation. It keeps my mind clear and my life on a high. I love it!. My yoga teaching has taught me how important talents and hobbies are in living a more fulfilled life. I feel so blessed, and have managed to attract and meet some amazing people. Yoga is my go-to, and I believe my Etsy store would not be as successful as it is if Yoga would not have found me. I have been teaching now for two years, and will continue my journey. It's a wild ride of learning and growth and making beautiful connection, and I am glad you are one those connections.

The arrows that started the inspiration for their entire room!

I tell everyone, but I, literally, keep that diffuser full of Purification essential oil because boys constantly smell disgusting.

Blurry and out of focus, but omg. They are to die for.

Need to buy it all? I got you covered.

Cosatto Stroller | Review

This is my favorite stroller ever. Seriously. I mean, here I am doing a product review and you're thinking, "she's being paid to say this." Ok, no. B U Y T H I S S T R O L L E R.

A removable cup holder - there's a latch on either side to attach it to. Decide which side you need to sip your Starbs on, and boom.

Besides the sheer sexiness of this stroller, I am obsessed with everything about this stroller. It's the easiest stow-and-go I've ever seen. I have twins and a 5-year-old - I don't have time to fight with a stroller. I usually only have one hand to do anything, so wrestling a stroller in a parking lot while my 3 scream in their car seats doesn't seem like something I am going to do.

No arm wrestling my Cosatto.

Look at that deep seat. Jett is relaxing like a B O S S with tons of room. The sunshade is huge and could seriously encapsulate him, which was happening during this shoot because he wanted no part of my shenanigans.

The storage is unreal. Deep pockets to hide your mom shit in, a speaker to plug your phone into to bump your gangster rap soothe your baby to sleep, and a netted basket under to store more kid crap that all us moms have.

And dudes! The handles are already high, but they actually extend up even further so you aren't walking around like the effing hunchback of Notre Dame. AND it's maneuverable with one hand. You have never had an stroller as easy to maneuver and steer. It is, hands down, THE BEST STROLLER I'VE EVER HAD.

So, how do you snag one of these BAFM's? Run to Cosatto and pick what you need. There are a million options, and it is such an amazing investment. Follow Cosatto on Instagram and Facebook to stay current with new styles and promos.

A Lumberjack Birthday Party

When you see this picture, I know many of you are thinking that I, clearly, slaved for months, spent a fortune, and went crazy on this party. Nine days ago, I had a lantern. That was it.

A facking red lantern.

You'd be surprised to find that, in the great lumberjack state of Colorado, buffalo plaid, moose, and wood-anything is hard to find in the month of May. Thankfully, I sent up the bat signal and the only thing I wound up needing was that amazing buffalo check blanket.

This PERFECT cake was my inspiration for the entire shindig. I sent some designs to DaddyCakes and let him take creative license. It was, literally, the icing on the cake that made this party come together.

Then, MamaCakes walked in with these cookies and my heart exploded.

I needed a backdrop. I always need one. It's the cornerstone of my parties. I needed wood. I didn't have time to make one. I didn't want to pay for one. Oh. Duh. I have a headboard made of wood that I built a few months back.

I ordered this beautiful custom birthday banner from Magnolia Tree Designs, and the party decor finally started to come together. I could breathe a little.

Once the party had started, the stars of the show finally decided to grace us with their presence. However, they were completely uninterested in being social.

Quite possibly one of my favorite pictures I've ever been in. His face, my hair. Perfection.

He is sweet, loving, snuggly, giggly, sensitive, shy, loud, weird and so many other things. If ever a picture summed him up, it's this one. Dirty, shoeless, and smiling. My beefcake.

The first present. That excitement. That anticipation. Throwing clothes out of the way to get to the real present.

And then, the exact moment that you realize your aunt totally screwed you over.

Let's stop right here and talk about Jett Lucas. This boy is just everything. He's hilarious, weird as hell, loud, rude, sweet, funny, mean, obnoxious, wonderful, giggly, scrawny, adventurous, wild, dirty, gorgeous, and a million other things. He is in timeout before 9am nearly every morning. He is the loudest squawker I have ever met. His scream could burst an ear drum. And he is the coolest damn kid I have ever met. His personality is so gigantic. He will be class clown in high school, be the cool kid in school, and will have every single lady wrapped around his finger. His two-year-old self is making me crazy, but I can't believe Jesus gave Him to me because I'm not cool enough to be his mom.

Now here is where I get super sappy and emoshies about friends who love my kids like they are their own.

I didn't always have this and I didn't know that I would, but I love this moment at every single birthday party: I stop, look around, and my heart, literally, swells with emotion. I love that I have a house full of people who absolutely adore my kids, discipline them when they talk back to me, tickle them, blow bubbles with them, kiss them, snuggle them, and love them as though they were their own. I have this moment every year, and now I have it twice a year. Them. All of them. Loving my brood.

Oh, and those shirts. I know. All thanks to Our5Loves!

I live for these parties, for these people, and for the love and laughter that fills my house on these days. Happy Birthday, my sweet, crazy boys. Our family is now complete.

Yes, that was a vasectomy reference.
